We're having a................

GIRL!!!!! I can hardly believe it! I was shocked to actually be right (if that makes any sense). Jed had guessed our new little one was a boy and I had guessed girl. I really thought I was right but at the same time, Jed has been right the last two times so I thought I was destined to be wrong. But at the ultrasound we found out that she is definitely a girl!

Kolby and Max are so excited. Kolby has been convinced that she was a girl ever since he found out I am pregnant. I am surprised how excited they are to have a little sister. Kolby wants her crib in his room so he can 'take care of her'. He wants to 'hold her', 'kiss her', and 'teach her stuff'. They are going to be such great big brothers to her!

I have to admit that I am much more nervous about having a girl than I would have been about having a boy. I am so used to dinosaurs, trucks, and wrestling I'm not quite sure what to do with a girl! So any tips, great brands or websites, decorating ideas, or just plain advice is welcome! We're so excited!

How exciting! Girls are a lot of fun! When we found out we were having a girl - I thought I wouldn't know what to do with a girl because of having so many brothers and nephews. But the girl thing comes pretty naturally. It is fun to have pink stuff and bows all over the house.

YEA!! After two boys, you guys need a girl! Girl advice- make your own bows- it's way cheaper- I'll even teach you! You are going to love the pink after all that boy stuff. Boys are great, but every mommy needs a girl! CONGRATS!

Amanda we are SO excited for you guys!!!!! I can just see your little one, Emma, Sophie, and Liddy all running around together. I can't wait.

Any names picked out yet?

Advice??? I'm only a few months into this girl thing myself so I'm not sure what to tell you. I would say only buy like 1 or 2 small dresses for church because they only wear them once and then they are too small!

Amanda congratulations! I didn't know you were expecting again. Little girls are soooo much fun. It has been exciting to be able to buy the girly things and girly clothes. The stores seem to have a lot more girl clothes to choose from too! Hope everything goes great for you and your baby!

One more thing, how much do you charge for preschool? I need to get my boy started.

Oh Joyfulness!!!! Kolby was totally right! (Hasn't he been telling you that he had a little sister coming since Max was a baby?) And I have to say that I'm also feeling much better about my decision to buy a pink bouncy seat for Elaina because now I can pass it on to you! (LOL, my overly practical brain won't usually let me buy something so gender specific for only one child!) And I also feel better about the fact that I bought some super cute girl onesies as soon as I found out that you were pregnant. Hee hee! Girls are awesome. I have tons of cute little girl dresses that are just like new because (as another commenter said) they grow out of them so fast that they just don't wear them much. And all of my girls have been summer babies so all the clothes I have should work great if you want them! I'm so excited!!!
